I'm beyond glad I found this video because now I know I need to definitely not jump into this program and i need to take time to really prepare for it. I'm not a charismatic person. I'm not a good talker. I am far more expressive in writing than I am in speech. I'm easily nervous and camera shy even. And I live in a very secluded area. I wouldn't even know what to pick for a beat right now. Thank you so much for doing this video! You just probably saved me from a world of hurt lol. I was about to jump into the program but I felt like I needed a better idea of what I was getting myself into and I was right! This video is a Godsend.

I have watched this video of yours like 4 times. Yea, I am crazy. This is a great video. You have a good way of speaking and this is helping me to consider Journalism as a probably solution. I am not huge into the bike scene buy your Full Sail vids are pretty cool.

Hey! This is a great video, I'm glad I found it. Idk if you'll see this comment but i have a couple of questions. It's been two years since you uploaded this. Now that some time has passed since graduation - would you give this program a thumbs-up? I have a journalist friend who said that the industry is extremely difficult to get into unless you have connections. I don't have connections but i already have two degrees in music and a bunch of education experience. Me getting on a music beat in my city would be pretty easy and i already have a bunch of connections. That said, i want to somehow get into educational broadcasting like PBS or NPR. Do you think this program will actually give me those tools? A fancy diploma with my name on it won't get me connections or land me jobs. This feels like a pretty huge decision, so I'm curious for any input.

@@BillyBusby it’s gonna be a bit of an adjustment, because I originally wanted to go on campus for film production, but with the whole COVID thing going on I figured I’d do something online. So I’m not 100% sure a beat and what I should specifically focus on.

You have a little bit of time to think on it. Once you start in on the journalism stuff you’ll end up doing a story almost every week of the whole program.

I just subscribed I am stated to start my classes in May. I have my bachelor's degree in digital cinematography from Full Sail already. I know this was 2 years ago soo is this class worth taking or should I rethink it?

It should help with that, one of the main instructors has an extensive background in sports.
