I went to get my BCID yesterday and they said that my name is too long. They added my family name and one letter of the name I usually use. Will it be an issue in the future? I'm really worried. I think only 38 characters fit in ID and driver's license.

I don’t think so. They might have your full name in the system but not enough space to print it
