If looks could kill... Christa was genuinely not happy with Clark about the "Great Water Bottle Incident." I can hear the "Clark Stinks" comments "pouring in" on this one.

I'm sure the $2.13 Christa spent one time on the water bottle was life changing! Very considerate of you Clark to point it out! Maybe there's still time to return it to get that massive smount back before it drives Christa bankrupt!!

I have a work friend who is the complete opposite of me. Everyday, he goes to Starbucks and buys a large fancy drink and breakfast sandwich. He doesn't bring lunch so he goes and gets fast food combo meals. For dinner, he does cook once in a while. But, him and his son go out and get dinner. He does this 7 days a week. I'm more of a frugal tightwad. I used to go buy $1.00 McDonald's coffee. But I thought that was too much so I make my own coffee every morning. My idea of fast food is Costco 1.50 hotdogs 😅 My wardrobe is kinda like Clark's Walmart stuff. Mine comes from Costco. I do have an expensive habit of buying new trucks every 5 years. This year is no different. I bought a Honda Ridgeline RTL and Tesla model Y 😊

I'm eating good ol PBJ for breakfast and lunch today along with fruit. Sipping a cup of coffee here at home before I head to work. I think a lot about the waste generated by plastic water bottles. I'm with Clark. I'd cup my hands under a faucet before I'd buy water from a store.

I like the idea of budgeting in some money for “blowing” on things like a fancy coffee. If those things make daily life a little better for you, then add it to your budget. Then you are at least aware how much is going to those expenses.

One gym I belong is $10.00 a month and consider it an investment on my health. Another gym that I belong is $50.00, well worth it and my personal trainer, $640 a month and WELL worth it. Most can get by at the $10.00 gym.

Why would an ultra low mile driver even have a car? I live in an area where cycling a mile or 3 gets me where I need to go. I'll rent a car a few times year as needed. The money I don't piss away on a car or cigarettes, will get me that awesome, way over priced brompton g line when it comes out....much more fun than fixing what auto mechanics have screwed up.

When my son was in college in Gainesville, I found that insuring his car there rather than at my house in Jacksonville saved a lot... I was told at the time was due to the higher risk of being here compared to a college town even as a then younger driver.

A little different…my insurance company charged me $12 MORE per year when I became a stay at home mom and was no longer commuting to the same office 5 days per week. With a new baby I literally went nowhere. I thought I would save money by not driving as much. The ins co’s explanation was that when I worked they knew where my car would be parked (either at home or work) 5 days a week, versus when I stayed home I could be anywhere at any time any day of the week. 🤷♀️

23:02 actually would be concerned if someone got data on biometrics. You gave a great example. There’s many people that even today can do a 3-D printed fingerprint. All they need is an image and a good lift of your print. Some of this information is encrypted, but I wouldn’t trust that all of that information would be encrypted.

Christa's water bottle is fine. Come on, Clark. If she were buying one every day, yes that could add up to a problem. She merely paid for a little convenience this time, which is okay. Secondly, I had a Capital One card years ago. Back then their practice was reporting your account with no credit limit on your credit reports, so if you had any balance at all it appeared that your card was maxed out. I don't know if they still report that way, but I would assume they do. I believe that is a dirty and despicable practice and avoid doing any business with them if I can.
@retired848422 сағат бұрын
Not even close to "fine." It's an absolute embarrassment.

Hey, it doesn't fall in to housing, transportation, or student loans. She's probably going to recover from her apparently significant purchase of premium water.

Clark, you’re the kind of guy who trips over dollars to save the pennies. Maybe you should honor the Lord more and the almighty dollar a little less. Spending $2.13 on a bottle of water will not change your life. Focus on the large expenditures, not the immaterial stuff. Don’t waste time and emotional energy. They are both much more valuable than a few dollars.
