The funny thing is that it's no big problem. You just need to get your tx inputs in the fly by wire system of the 380, so mostly programming and getting a stable and secured uplink.

Yes I have seen how Jamie's rf link failed, driving Adam through a fence. The system i use is newer, and have microcontrollers between the receiver and motors/actuators. So i programmed some safety functions that makes stuff like that don't happen, unless your friend panics and drives it into the forest (as you can see in the other video) because he's use to drive reversed throttle/brake :D

Really, it depends what you are using it for. If its only to deliver PWM signals, i cant see why it should failsafe, i've only encountered problems with Spectrum when the receiver is also delivering power to the servos (like on a plane and such) Spectrum transmitters also have premium feel to it, one i really cannot find with FrSky products.. however, one failsafe left a heavy repair bill and since then... well i agree. FrSky is the way to go.. Especially after the M9 Gimbals came out, they add to the "premium feel" i missed with FrSky.
