When Columbia landed in NM, my husband was the only person who got to go on board, to clear the fuels & oxidizers from it. He got some awesome pictures. NASA took family members by bus out to see it (the landing strip was quite a few miles from a main road). We got to see it loaded on the 747 & take off for FL.

Before I bought my home here in South Florida I lived in a new apartment about a Mile in from the beach. If I stepped outside of my front door and looked north I could see the space shuttle , very clearly, take off. Florida is so flat that nothing blocked the view between here and the cape. Very interesting vlog, Jordan. Breck must have been in his glory. Awww, Jah looks sad.

When they moved the Endeavor shuttle, it flew right over my house. It felt so surreal like I could almost touch it. I’m just sorry I didn’t have my cell in my hand to take a picture. It was a moment in time. We later went to the California Science museum to see it in person. Thanks for taking us there again with Breck. Much appreciated. 🙏🏻❤️🚀

So many interesting topics you cover. Always look forward to see what you film next! The museum was very informative. Enjoyed seeing the Shuttle. I really liked the holographic blue tile and the interactive exhibits. Little Jah knew you were leaving him again. But, he’ll be so excited to see you when you get back. It’s wonderful that you have a friend like Breck! Looking forward to your next journey!

In 1986 I saw the smoke cloud just after the Challenger exploded. It was a sad day. I watched the endeavor take off once. It was like nothing that I can explain. Enormous power. I really liked the simulator. Good camera work on that. Another great vlog from the Lion man. 🦁

Hi Jordan. Happy New Year!! I got to see the plane piggy-backing the Endeavor to the space museum, while visiting my Mother in the hospital, at UCI. A friend works for NASA in Florida, wrote me and told me they would be doing that, and when, so I’d be able to see it. The pilot flew past my my Mom’s window.he then stopped it right outside our window. I could see the pilot. He saluted me and held that plane there, but all of my cameras died right then, so I had to have a nurse snap a pic of it on the other side of the hospital and send it to me. It was such an awesome experience. The whole hospital was going crazy with excitement. So cool you got to see it here. Thank God it’s still intact for display. It is an experience you’ll never forget. Wow, would he and my Dad have a lot to talk about. My dad was an engineer for. North American Rockwell, in the Autonetics Division, in Anaheim. This was awesome!!

I'm 80 years old so I lived through these events. I remember Ham and will never forget the Challenger explosion! Lived in Texas when the Columbia fell apart. The explosion sounded like a freight train collision. The smoke streak was just to the south of where I lived. Bits and parts were seen falling from the streak of white smoke.

The shuttle Atlantis is at Kennedy Space Center. They have the cargo doors open up and the shuttle at an angle so you can easily see the inside. The rocket displays and other memorabilia easily is far larger, plus you get to see real launchpads. Well worth the trip if you are into it.

I am so geeked out on this vlog, the astronauts are my heroes, that museum is awe inspiring. When you showed the shuttle it made me tear up a little, how proud you must be, America is amazing. Sorry for the gush but what you have achieved is truly remarkable and humbling, I love America for giving the world the space program. No one can take that monumental achievement from you.

Awesome look at the US Space Program Jordan. I was in the 6th grade, and saw the Space Shuttle Challenger explode live from our school in Central FL. We saw the explosion, and went back in to watch the TV to discover what happened. We are not for from Cape Kennedy, and witnessed a lot of launches, I am sure including Endeavor. The return was always followed with the reentry "boom". We all in CEntral knew what that was. Great vlog with Breck! . Really enjoyed it! Have you ever watched the 80's movie "Space Camp"? I am with Breck, I always wanted to fly in the shuttle because of that movie as a kid.

I was in Palmdale to watch the Endeavour flyover tribute to its birthplace before it made its way to Los Angeles. Very moving experience. Many of my family and friends worked at NASA or in other aerospace positions. If you are interested, there is a really cool museum in Palmdale with retired aircraft including the SR71, shuttle simulator and much more. When I was there, a retired pilot was doing a Q and A. Look up Blackbird Airpark.

My understanding was they were trying to acquire a couple of the solid boosters to go with that external tank so they could display it in launch configuration. I think that is the only external tank left in existance. The spots on the bottom of that tank where the insulation was cut off was done for testing purposes after the Challenger explosion.
