I have never cried after watching either national conventions.. yet this hit me hard. I’ve always only voted for who I believe would have the best intentions for the people, democratic or republican. I choose who I believe in my heart has our best interests and Obama saved my life literally. When he passed Obamacare I was able to see doctors and receive life saving medication which I’m still able to receive today. Listening to his speech live gives me a throwback to Obama's speech in the 2004 DNC. You can hear it in the crowd of how excited they are and to me it amazes me how he's able to maintain most of that momentum within a 35-minute speech. To list a few, he uses a lot of storytelling, anaphoras (repetition, see I Have A Dream speech by MLK), and themes of unity in his speech. You may agree or despise the stuff he does during his presidency. But you can't deny that his public speaking skills and charisma are OFF the charts.
