I feel like too much of the news lately is fake and full of bots with misleading headlines saying Biden dropped out and saying Pelosi didn’t say that till the end. It feels like a takeover online instead of the majority and actual picture in hopes if they spam these fake stories so much it’ll cancel opinions and votes by acting like it’s not a close race and Biden cancelled. It’s grotesquely littered online, more littered than the other victims of online hate campaigns I’ve seen this year and meanwhile I see lots of things Biden did manifesting that make the news less and inflation is cooling down and things are recovering from the COVID bailouts. Minimum wage will be 15 soon and there’ll be a semi cap on many rentals, no more than 5% each year for a tax break.

President Biden called Trump in the evening after the shooting, on his first call they said Trump was with his doctor, on Biden's 2nd call he talked with Donald, concerned, asking how he was, how he's doing, and told him that he was in their families prayers, very good & classy of Biden to do that. In this speech, early on, Trump should have mentioned Biden calling him, and should have thanked him. I'm very disappointed that Trump did not mention Biden's call and thank him for it, this ruined much of the rest of Trumps speech for me.

Meanwhile, Trump may have donated his 1.6 million in 4 years of salary, but he charged the secret service 1.4 million dollars for them to stay at his properties, which actually violates Article II, Section 1, Clause 7 of the Constitution, which states "The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services, a Compensation, which shall neither be encreased nor diminished during the Period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument (compensation) from the United States, or any of them." But, you know, official acts and all that, what can you do when you erode our legal protections against tyranny and corruption?
