The voice of Odysseus and composer's name is pronounced HOR-HAY. And the characers in the animatics are typically stylized after their voice actors. Polities has glasses because Steven Dookie (the voice of Polities) wears glasses.

Not sure if anyone told you funfact the creator Jay each epic character has signature instrument for example Odyssey has various guitars sound depending by emotions. Eurylochus has backup vocals of the soldiers/crew Polites has Kalimba and Marimba Jay inspiration when he was younger he watched "Peter and the Wolf" and was inspired by the use of a specific instrument to represent a character.

Also apologizing for any overzealous and rude winions. Welcome to the Fandom!(I had to reply to a comment. My YT Is glitching and won't just let me leave a one off) I don't excuse bad behavior. But I've had to rein myself in sometimes for reactors who definitely don't take in the information given by dozens of comments and continue going out of order and saying they're starting from scratch. When the information is right there many times. It's frustrating but being nasty about it is inexcusable.

I am so excited that you are reacting to Epic!! It is one of my favorite musicals of all time and it isn't even finished yet (well it is "finished" just not all of the sagas are released to the public yet). When I saw your first video I watched it immediately and was so glad that you liked it❤ I was a bit confused when you were reacting to them out of order but I understand that you like to go through things blindly which is completely valid. I saw others helping you in the comments but I am so sorry for the people that were passive-aggressive or rude, that was uncalled for. I'm sure that other comments have done this but I will give you a bit of background on this musical, not too much though just some basic spoiler-free facts. As you know, this musical is being developed by the wonderful Jorge (pronounced hor-he, but most people call him Jay). He started working on this musical during the pandemic and posted his progress of it on tiktok which is how it blew up. He started releasing the sagas in 2022. He is heavily inspired by video games, anime, and other things that have that vibe. Which you will see more of in the later sagas. I think that's all I can think of. I am so excited to see you continue your epic journey, thanks for the great reaction!

Yay! We're so happy you're continuing with these. We love your reactions. Ignore the haters; you can start at any song in this project and fall in love with the whole thing. If it will make you feel better, my first song was Warrior of the Mind. As for your comment about Polites's appearance, some of the artists make the characters resemble their voice actors -- Steven Dookie (Polites) wore glasses. So many artists are doing their own rendition of these animatics now that you can look at anyone to see who tickles your fancy, but maybe stick to the playlist until you're done and branch out from there. When watching other versions, I recommend Mircsy for Polyphemus and Survive; Neal Illustrates, Ximena, or Anniflamma for Ruthlessness; gigi for Puppeteer and There Are Other Ways; and Gwendy for No Longer You. Even if you pick different artists, I haven't really seen any bad choices; everyone brings their best to Epic: The Musical, and I respect them all for it. Oh, and make sure you have a box of tissues starting in the next saga. That's all I'm going to say.

The first two songs in the Cyclopes saga should be combined into a single video or viewing, in the Circe saga the third and fourth songs grouped under Circe (pronounced "sur-se"). In the Thunder saga, songs 1 and 2 should also be paired together, as well as songs 4 and 5, while the third song can either stand alone or be joined with 1 and 2. The singer and creator, Jorge, is pronounced in the Spanish form ("Hor-he"), but he also goes by "J" for simplicity. as for starting in the middle or such don't worry a ton or reactors have done this. My preference in the Wisdom saga is put songs 1-3 together and 4 and 5 together there are two more saga's that have not been released yet.. we are hopping the next will be soon the 5th saga was released July 4th and the 6th was released in the end of August. it also takes the animators a while to get the songs animated ... so before you hit the wisdom saga be sure to check what the "best" versions are... so far i think 4rd in wisdom saga we''ll be fine is best portraited by GIGI

Thanks you for your amazing reactions so far! I agree that commenters should be clear with information, but not in a passive aggressive or angry way. Also, it’s totally fine to start on a different song. I actually discovered this musical because I heard two songs in the Thunder Saga and another one in the Ocean Saga on Tik Tok, and then I finally listened to it fully.

New sub but what you viewed are the old versions of Troy saga, Jorge had to redo them bc he wasn't getting paid for his albums Troy and Cyclops saga if you want to listen to the remakes on your own, he has them on his yt channel(

Ah it stopped glitching. Yay. Yeah. Merchy (how it's pronounced) gets everyone with those last few seconds lol. 😂 I feel so bad sometimes. I'm sure people have recommend you reacting by Saga if your schedule allows for it. It can be agonizing when people go by song. But this is a great compromise. We're just voracious animals when it comes to Epic content. Enjoy the rest. And I don't know if you're an emotional consumer. But I recommend having tissues at the ready just in case. I'm a weeper, but strangely I cry more for pop music (any genre not musical related) dunno why.
