That makes sense. The phrase "heres the kicker" used to be a dead give away. Even now, the ai will use the phrase and then say something like, "im sorry, im not supposed to use that phrase." However, if I hear "maybe, just maybe", I know its all lies.

Why do family members always make the person who was wronged the one who must forgive? My family always used emotional blackmail or straight up bribery on my sister. I’m more confrontational and always willing to go toe to toe with anyone. But my sister struggled with that for years. Now we are NC with our mother and her family for their enabling and constantly looking the other way and pretending everything is fine. It is liberating to formally tell them not to contact us anymore and why. I am so proud of the person my sister has become despite all the abuse she received as a child and the fact that she was dropped on my doorstep as a child.
