Word of advice for everybody: Stop with this "for the child's sake" crap. Staying together when you don't love your partner anymore, feel violated by them or them making you uncomfortable in any other way is NOT the best move. Not for you, not for you or the child. This feeling of "I don't like them" will over time turn into "I bloody hate them" and the worst part is that there is a good chance you will eventually start resenting your child because you initially stayed in this relationship "for their sake" and them being the main reason you didn't left when you thought you should. This will not benefit you, your partner or your child. Your child will grow up in a home play pretend happy family which isn't good either. When you feel like your partner broke your trust to the point this can't be worked out or repaired then LEAVE. You being on the edge constantly in your own house will not get unnoticed by your child when it gets older
