What a great apartment! I have an acquaintance who moved to a large studio in Center City, and is always complaining about how small it is. IMHO, she just doesn't know how to arrange things and decorate it nicely. You did a great job. Love that you have a dog, too!

I actually think you space is portioned nicely. Kitchens do not need to be oversized. The bath needs to be a comfortable space. You did a great job!

Hi Cara I’m Mooregirl, “Moore Collage” thanks for the tour❤ I was born and raised in Philly, but relocated to Vegas. I went from a three story home to a 1400 sq ft. two bedroom and two bath apt. noooo!! I hate that you can relate to this--I'm sure with two kids it's even more frustrating. I'll let you know if I discover any sort of life hack to correct this issue 😂☺

Get a clothes drying rack from target or wherever and have your clothes dry on that instead of the dryer (inside the house somewhere it doesn't really matter) or outside if possible. Use cold water for everything except for stuff like white socks or white towels. Separate your laundry by fabric and color, like all dark jeans blue and black, all dark towels, all light towels or all white towels, T-shirts of the same colors, etc. if you wash T-shirts with jeans the jeans will tear up the T-shirts and the T-shirts may not get clean. Some fabrics need to be hand washed very gently. Things like wool have to be washed extremely carefully - see the video by Rajiv S. Yes, I am very particular about my laundry. Using the dryer is the fastest way to wear out clothes and fade clothes, Like hot water.

I can't stand the "kitchen in the hallway" layout. I would hang some vertical blinds in front of the counter to screen it from view when company comes. That background drumming is irritating to boot. Love your big windows.
