@@JetLagWarriors Back in the middle ages even in Europe pale skin was considered noble and tanned skin was a sign of belonging to the lower class- bc those had to work on the fields and were exposed to the sun.... Nobility (for example in Spain the lower Hidalgo nobility class) were proud of them being exempted from having to work and pay taxes. This changed with the age of industrialazation where paleness began to be associated with bad living conditions and disease such as the English disease (Rachitism [Rickets] due to Vitamin D deficiency ) and often associated with that Tuberculosis (especially in working children/youth who diddn't see sunlight for months or years) So this is when the tanned skin color began to be seen as a sign of health and weatlh.

We have a local product similar to this called Oralit and its used for rehydration and mineral intake during and after diarrhea. The reason westerners doesn't really know Pocari is because they refuse to have a direct confrontation for the same market with Gatorade, hence they expand towards Asia.

The reason why fruits like Jambu air and dragon fruit are tasteless/bland is because they're picked before ripe. Some fruits like banana and mango are able to become sweeter as days go by after picked, but some other fruits cant. If you able to get to taste dragonfruit that ripe naturally, you'll be seriously amazed. The flavor is absolutely fresh and sweet
