Taraweeh - the bidah of Umar, which the Prophet (sawa) never prayed: Sahih al-Bukhari 2009 Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever prayed at night the whole month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven." Ibn Shihab (a sub-narrator) said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) died and the people continued observing that (i.e. Nawafil offered individually, not in congregation), and it remained as it was during the Caliphate of Abu Bakr and in the early days of 'Umar's Caliphate."

Im confused.. If your praying taraweeh salat then aren't you supposed to finish one sura then go to ruku and so on...then again in your 2nd rakat recite another sura. Pls enlighten me if I'm wrong . Thank you.

So it depends on how the masjid does if it’s 8 or 20 Rakats and if it 8 is 2.5 pages per 1 rakat but if it’s 20 it’s 1 page per rakat because at the end it’s 20 pages

I love Mufti Menk but I'm disappointed he is complying with the rules of this Plandemic and breaking Sunnah. I see brothers scattered and wearing mask 😷 during prayers. May Allah guide our Ummah back to where it was during the time of Rasulillah SAS and his companions.

He is complying by the rules so that people don’t get ill by reading salah in the masjid. Any muslim with an ounce of compassion in their heart would understand that Covid has affected millions of lives and we should not willingly throw ourselves into the disease as this is foolish. We need to protect each other, and the way to do that is by distancing and wearing masks. Look at what is happening in India.

I don't know where he is but I am in the US my family are in Africa and the country we are from covid is extremely low that no one wears mask anymore. Their are many places in the world where wearing mask is not apart of the day to day due to them not being severally effected by covid. My family were in France and decided to all relocate to Africa ( conakry) for months were their is no lockdown or high covid. Many Americans have also left the country to covid free places !!
