Maybe, but the vram chips with the right capacity would be very hard to find and gaming performance would hardly budge

At some point you run up against the limit that Windows can handle, 128 GB for Home Edition, 2 TB for Enterprise (server). Unless you are going to run Linux only, but even then, motherboards have a limit to how much physical memory they can handle.

They need this in China as 3090 cannot be exported to China and other marxist countries.For the vram upgrade to be successful, the card's bios must be updated accordingly or it doesn't work. In LLM it is the vram, not the vga speed,that matters.This is why some ppl still buy old tesla p40 which has 24gb vram but is very very slow.
