first of all, i would like to say this. to everyone who keeps saying novak takes medical timeouts whenever he is trailing, then why haven't we had the same opinion when gael couldn't continue against ben in the 4th round? look i get it gael is universally loved by just about everyone in the tennis community, but just think about it. novak PLAYED through the injury in sustained in the 1ST SET against carlos, so what that basically means is he played through that injury for almost 3 hours for the next 3 sets he won. bare in mind adrenaline is a real thing. in the heat of the moment, novak was probably suffering like hell but he knew he couldn't just give up so easily, hence the medical timeout to just regroup and recenter himself. then once that adrenaline wore off and reality started to set in, novak realised he most likely was done. and he still pushed sascha all the way to s TIEBREAK. a freaking TIEBREAK on basically 1 LEG. he couldn't serve well at all yet he held serve all the way to the end. yet there's always people out there who like to comment about oh novak always using a medical timeout, oh novak crybaby, oh novak this oh novak that, this guy has won 24 GRAND SLAMS, and on 1 leg with his 38th birthday fast approaching made the semi finals of a grand slam. and don't even get me started on the utterly disrespectful aussie crowd. imagine booing a 10 TIME CHAMPION. 99% of the god damn crowd has probably never even touched a freaking tennis racket before. so before you all jump to laugh at novak, look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself. what have YOU even accomplished in LIFE that can even rival what novak has accomplished in tennis ALONE? novak will be back, and he's gonna be back stronger than ever before. IDEMO my GOAT.

Why Djokovic Is the Greatest and By Far the Most Successful Player of All Time - Rightfully the True GOAT! Most Grand Slam Titles: No one has won more Majors than Djokovic. Record at ATP Finals: He also tops the leaderboard here. Dominance at Big Tournaments: No other player has collected more significant titles. Olympic Gold: Unlike Federer, Djokovic has achieved this milestone as well. Calendar Golden Slam: A nearly unbeatable accomplishment. Longest Reign at No. 1: He’s held the top spot for more weeks than anyone else - Federer trails by a staggering 95 weeks. Unique Grand Slam Dominance: The only player in history to win each Grand Slam at least three times. Record as Year-End No. 1: Djokovic has finished the year as the top player eight times - unmatched by anyone. And now to the eternal naysayers and haters: He has a winning head-to-head record against Federer! He also has a winning head-to-head record against Nadal! So, spare us the claims that Federer was more elegant, Nadal more aggressive, or that one of them played more aesthetically pleasing tennis. That’s purely subjective and doesn’t change the numbers and facts! Objectively, Djokovic is the greatest player of all time - THE GOAT. There’s no disputing it, not today, and not anytime soon.

Its difficult to believe, when one wins all 6 games, almost win the set, but drop out suddenly. Interesting this that many people here fail to realise is that Novak gets paid almost 700k USD for appearing in the semi final, even though he didnt complete the match. He would not be paid this money, if he did a walk over. While spectators paid 300 to 800 AUD per seat, they dont get their money's worth as the same will not be refunded to them. It almost seems like Djokovic appeared just to claim the prize money and rob the crowd of a match.

Thank you Zverev for correcting the AO crowd and giving Novak the respect he deserves. Zverev was world class. Appreciate that, sir. 🫡

Me alegro por Zverev gran atleta , mal hecho del público, abuchear a Novak 10 veces ganador de su abierto es una falta de respeto

@ I think you are right. He is at the end of his career and still getting booed off the court. In fact, his competitors have to step in and defend him. yikes

Kedves Novak, minden elismerés az eddigi 'erőn feletti' teljesítésért az idei AO-n... ez a mai Zverev kemény dió lett volna, még ha nyered is az első szetet... a fiatalságé a jövő!

Djo he so old why he doesn't retire..? . He can not play any Grand Slam more 🧘😎 ❤

Djokovic should have tried the 2nd set, against anyone else, yes retirement is a good idea. But Zverev has been known to blow leads and be a big choker
@MarcoSpeaksNadsat4 сағат бұрын
Easy for you to say. He said the pain was too much to go on for another 2,3 hours.....even if he had won the 1st set.
@shipwreck88474 сағат бұрын
@@MarcoSpeaksNadsat I bet Djoker under pain over Zverev blowing leads. This is the guy who has been up 2-0 and 2-1 in 5 setters and still loses in past GS events.

either that or he's got an injury and was unable to continue playing.
