When you whipped out that ladder, I had to look away for a moment and compose myself. Honestly, it's such a sturdy looking ladder. I have ladder envy 😂 Happy New Year mate, glad to see your store ticking along nicely. I finally got my first order after being open 8 weeks 😅 But my numbers are low right now as it's being run around my amazon and Ebay. I'm very much the same right now with orders. An order is an order but as I said I've only had 1 and the store is still tiny. I imagine the larger the store, the less you really need the smaller sales like every business. It's one of those tricky situations - but looking at the figures it's less than 5% of Brick Owl orders that I'm talking about - so not as big a deal as I was feeling - one of those things you spot frequently because you think it about it when you do. I didn't realise you were opening a store!!! Nice work - what's the store name?

@YellowBrickRoadLego Hey, yes, after much back and forth in my mind, I did decide to expand my reselling business to include bricklink 😅 I mainly do Amazon and Ebay right now. My store is called KO Online and currently only has 2 feedback and about 1k parts 😂 Il get to your numbers one day lol. I work it all around my kids so time is very limited already with Amazon and Ebay. But Brick Arena, Supabricks and yourself have been the main inspiration to expand into lego selling and rekindle my love of it at the same time. I really appreciate the content you put out. Thank you

Nice video as usual! I have the same mindset as you with “an order is an order,” but if those low value orders keep happening on Brick Owl, I would probably institute a minimum. I think you said the small orders are from the same buyer and he might be taking advantage, but we’re in it to make a little money. Good luck with the decision, let us know what you come up with.

@@CHOPZ-Bricks yeah, tough call when orders are orders!!! I’ll have to look into the fees on them as it’s via Stripe so maybe not too bad?

I always keep flipping between a minimum spend or not on BrickOwl, then I see a repeat customer who did a $0.50 order to place a $40 order a week later. Keeps me not having a minimum spend which is as you say - an order is an order!

I've just checked the figures and it's about 5% of orders in the last 4 months that have been under $1 and chosen Domestic Letter - so such a small sample really - one of those things you notice because you've become atuned to it I think - I was thinking of removing Domestic Letter rate from Brick Owl as a test rather than a minimum, but now it seems such a small sample it's not worth the potential upset to potential customer loyalty.

I have just introdyced handling fee for orders beneth 4.5E that should cover fees for PayPal or Stripe in really small orders. But I am learning still the BL business
