Fun episode. Rosie and I are always looking for off grid spots. We spent the winter off grid in the LTVA near Yuma. It was awesome. We are in Joplin, Mo. and will land back in Wisconsin before the weekend. Already planning our next adventure. Keep up the awesome travel and great music. Great video! Sorry about your injury. :(. I want to give you a BIG RECOMMENDATION for Beddys. We bought one 5 years ago and would never RV without it. It still looks like new. So easy to make the bed and its so soft and comfy! It is a bit spendy but I'd pay twice as much - it's that good. They do have sales so that's nice! Now, we even have one one on bed at home. I hope your injury heals quickly. Happy travels!

I noticed you are running the Turning Point kingpin. What are the everyday peculiarities of this kingpin? You noticing any sway while motoring at freeway speeds? Or when a big-rig passes you? Chucking? Ratttling? I have a shortbed truck and an auto-slider 5th wheel hitch and while needing the 22” rearward pivot this hitch provides, it is way too heavy to remove easily, so Im exploring alternative setups. So Im just trying to get owners opinions on their Turning Point hitch.

I have a question for you on one of your videos I seen you had your kingpin on your 5th wheel turned Do you have a curt Turning point on your 5th wheel and if so do you use it in turning position ? We have a 2022 Grand Design 295RL and ours has the Curt Turning point as well I am thinking about using it but I have a question how do you like it and does the trailer sway going down the road with wind ?

Hello. Yes, we have a Turning Point. I really like it because we can pack all around the hitch with no worries since it pivots above the truck bed. There is zero sway and it is very easy to back. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and for commenting! 😃😃

We usually switch over in late afternoon. That day caught us off guard with all of the appliances that we were using. I believe that it may have been cloudy that day as well. 😀

@@TheBorderHookups we’ve been doing this RV lifestyle for 10 years now and on travel days I close up the fridge and turn it off and then we just hook it up to propane or power depending where we’re staying overnight ..have never ‘lost’ any food due to it being off while driving..some travel days have been 8-10 hours with no issues .. meat is still frozen ..
