Maybe a tip. But if you hold shift while you drag an lfo in vital it makes bipolar, so you dont have to right click everytime

This was great man. Thanks for this. I used pigments instead the whole time with stepic. The arrangement part def helped. I feel like i overthink stuff way to much and as a result it takes me way to long to get the form moving along.

Thank you again for the inspiration I began posting on band camp recently after spending a year on an album. I just might help you on the patreon when I get paid again. The info you have provided here deserves you to get paid IMO. Keep up the great videos and work 100%!

Thank you so much Chris for your dedication. Be blessed for that. I have no doubt that it will be very useful for a lot of folks, starting from me of course (this videos gave me a lot of ideas).

Another great tutorial, Chris. There's always, for me, some tweak you do that makes me go "Wow. Never thought of doing that." In this walkthrough it was at 16:35-ish, where you use velocity to modulate the decay on the envelope. Subtle but effective. BTW, your Harmonic Horizons podcast with Dash Glitch was double plus good.

An interesting way I found to make the percussion midi is to use Riffer by Audio Modern. What's cool about that plug in is that you can have multiple Midi generators going at once, each with their own step count, loop length and meter. It is child's play to combine poly rhythm and poly meter with Riffer. I generated Midi going into Vital with 3 Riffer engines (still one plugin), each broken into their own octave range. I put one generator going at 15 steps running at 1/8T, another one looping every 3 steps at 1/4T and the final one at 16 steps running at 1/16ths. Only the 15 step engine has Density turned on and only for 2 steps, giving a perfect amount of random ratcheting. Finally all the engines are in Infinity mode so that their loop is always random. Pipe the output through Shaperbox with a touch of Envelope Follower on the Filter and Liquid modules, send into Raum and voila. Endless random percussion. Riffer really allows for extreme creativity for this specific application. The results are impressive and worry free for the producer once everything is set up. Great vid by the way. Your energy is motivational.

I have invested a lot of money into the world of iOS synths/effects/DAWs/midi control apps etc… i still learn a lot from your videos and can apply to them to my iOS set up in logic pro and AUM. Have you ever explored the iOS world? Do you think it could benefit me to join your Patreon to get help based on me using iOS? Great video man!
@s1gns0fl1fe4 ай бұрын
I have explored the world of iOS, yes. I don't have a proper iPad at the moment, so my options are somewhat limited in that regard. I will say that my Patreon has a TON of tutorials that aren't here on KZbin so if you're interested in that, you'll have years of material to go through. Check the S1gns Patreon Guide you get in your welcome email for the full list. Cheers!
