I will be announcing the 2nd secret code t-shirt winner from the Kicker video in the next build video. If you haven’t found it yet, you still have a chance to enter the draw. Here’s a clue… You could find it with your eyes closed.

I am loving these trail builds and love seeing it all come together. Reminds me of the trails I'd build in the bush with my mates during the covid 19 lockdown. We both enjoyed making and riding skinnys from sketchy fallen trees and trying to get across a series of them so if you come across a fallen tree as you make your way down, i reckon you should build some fallen tree skinnys to continue this trail. Can't wait for the next video!! 🤙

@mattspen
@mattspen 2 ай бұрын
YES! The top to bottom video we have all be waiting for!!! Your trail looks SO FUN!!! Old Tom’s mix looks fun too! If it were me I would improve the Creek Gap landing first, then fix the 180º turn after the Bush Beast.

For the turn after the Bush Beast I imagine I giant quarter pipe but instead of airing out you ride up, then ride an arch, then ride down. The quarter pipe is sooo tall you can’t air out and it’s less steep but the motion or arch is kind of similar. (What if the arch hand an adjustable angle!!!) Then, like many of your features, a removable section of the wall to make the shape like a “n” or rainbow. I imagine half of it is a pit, half is the pits dirt above ground and the top is wood. There could even be a bypass berm behind it. For spice level, make the arch go around a tree. You could have the arch built around a tree with a low line below the tree and the high line above the tree for spice!
@cutlaps
@cutlaps 2 ай бұрын
You should see the bottom half of old tom. Its a black jump flow trail. Lots of fun to ride but I can't clear the jumps. Ohhhh yeah a massive quarter pipe would be insane. You have some crazy ideas! I love it

@@cutlaps I’m with you, I can hit big things but not the biggest. I’m excited to show you my updated dirt bowls, need to clean up today’s back-hoe mess first. They are like a dirt skate park but with crazy layers and alt lines. For example inner bowls with outer berms and berms crossing like a X but they flow nice in both directions at the intersection. Kind of artistic looking too with waves and rollers all over the place. I’m so stoked, my kids have loved riding it so far, to the point they are volunteering to help dig for the first time 🤩

Nice video! Interesting that your bike developed a creaking sound so fast. Could be the Auzzie dirt! It's quite common for new bikes to start creaking after some rides and, especially full suspension. When I find a creaking like this I usually just take apart the linkage and grease everything and that usually is the solution.
@cutlaps
@cutlaps 2 ай бұрын
Yeah its been so dry and dusty here lately. I think some super fine dust got in from the dirt roads at my place. I gave it a good was and checked all the pivot bolts were tight and its mostly sorted the problem. But your idea of pulling the linkage apart and greasing is a solid idea.

Yes I have actually. We have high speed and flowy sections thats were we initially planned to put it but there but we were to fast so it just acted like a wobbly jump. We moved it to the a slow technical section and i would never build a trail without it again. It's made of a plank screwed on a log. The log is iff centre so it resets itself once you rode over it. Zhe only downside is, that you can't really follow your buddies too close because the teeter totter needs a second or two to reset itself. Its a really fun feature and i hope my description helps you to imagine how it could look. Hope you build it.😀

Hey man! I am only 12 years old, but i decided to start mountain biking about a year ago. I affected my friend with this, and now we both do mountain biking. 3 months ago we built a super "flowy" trail and it was sick! I just wanted to say that, you were my inspiration all along, and that i used your videos as a tutorial, that you are super entertaining, at the same time. Also a skinny would be cool👍

Hey Cutlaps, love your trail and videos. For a new feature what about a ‘Triple Threat’ Do you have a steepish corner for a techy rock garden? Then you could run a low skinny beside it for a green, roll through the garden as a blue or jump the garden black style. Cheers
@cutlaps
