Reggie has just started his training program with us. He is young and becoming more and more aggressive toward strangers, especially in the home. This is his very first training session.

Definitely quick to use teeth lol. I play with mine but if I get tired ignore him, mine play bites (doesn’t bite down but more like a tap) the back of my ankle/heel like I’m livestock to get me playing again….

It would be helpful if you explained what you were doing. What is the dog doing when you say yes? Making eye contact? Or is it something else?

I think she said it earlier in in the video. Yes, she is looking for eye contact.

What do u use as treats, my two 16 month Olds are finicky. I don't leave food out so they know to eat but are not food crazy.

When and why do you choose to use the marker "yes" and the marker "good"? Do you use them interchangeably or for certain reasons? Or both? Thank you

I think I heard her say that she uses "good" as a complementary positive marker that means "well done, hold your position".

A good trick with that would be to Hold Your Hand Palm up invitingly wait for their eye to soften a bit- rather than trying to pet from the top of the head- and if you scratch their chin for a second and then pull your hand back a bit do that a few times in a row and then just hold your hand there they'll reach out to your it because they realize they like it... It does more than petting when you scratch them then it's a nerve relaxing technique
