What is your favorite part of the follower update? And what would you like to see for the future?

As a solo player this is looking great for the future. - I do think that there is room for improvement on what followers can emanate, and possible more variety in useful equipement to support the character/main build. But until the patch is running we won't really see what is optimum!

Basically the follower system is like getting several more kanai cube slots but it only applies on solo. I would love a 2 player game mode where we could each bring our follower instead of a 4 person team. So solo play, and 2 player co-op mode get to keep their followers.

i see you did not try this but i have: on the ptr for speed GRs, i put flavor of time/nemesis (the basics) then the best item combo for xp with 3 pieces Born's, 2 pieces cain's, the 2 xp rings AND leoric's crown with xp gem and a gem of ease in the weapon (though i don't know if that one works), in total i had a bonus of around 18% XP at lvl 70, which is not bad in the long run for solo speed GRs

at least one ring slot needs to go to Oculus but otherwise you can just go max XP if you like

Questions: 1- if you’re wearing Nemesis yourself, os strongarms a viable option for the follower? 2- is it still possible to “exploit” the shoulders to keep the 60% damage reduction indefinitely? 3- for builds that require a lot of resources, could the templar be the best option? What about the ring that gives you resource when you take fire damage? 4- if your follower wears gloves of worship, can you bring shrines effect to a GR like zNecs can do with Ahavarion?

1. with Ess of Johan that's an option 2. yes Homing Pads is exploitable, I'm still trying to get them to fix it 3. there is almost no such build in the game and even then you would probably take another follower and just roll another item with RCR 4. only if you wear Ahavrion yourself

I had a question that I've never seen answered on the followers : If you play a LoD build and your follower has a set like cain or sage do you lose your LoD multipliers as you technically have a set equipped ?

If I'm playing a Strength-based character (e.g., Barb), how do I efficiently get Agility/Intelligence gear for non-Strength followers, other than re-rolling them on Int-characters?

Play an int or dex character. If you don't want to level one, create a level 1 char for rerolls and crafting.

Hey Wudi, for hc players, if you have your follower the follower can not die relic and the cheat-death skill, does that mean you don't have to get cheat-death passive on yourself because when you take fatal damage, the follower will always procs their cheat-death skill for you 100%?

Followers now having a cheat death means that you don't necessarily need to have one equipped yourself. Although for HC players it is usually recommended to run with more than one cheat death.

How come you choose to use life on hit on the follower when its immortal? Am I missing something here?

Won't you be running with a follower based on your main stat? Barb - templar / DH - scoundrel / Mage - enchantress? Most of us play 1 char for the whole season and you cannot roll main stat (other then your own) on their gear lol. Are the spells still viable if not max main stat???

quick question, would the strong-arm bracers work on the follower if he has weapons with knock down? i.e. would the 30% dmg increase also apply to me?

Absolutely love this video! So informative! Quick question, if the follower has the ahavarion spear of lycander and the gloves of worship can I receive the shrine effect for 10 minutes if my follower strikes a demon and then I kill it with my solo rat? I'm not sure if the spear would have to emanate in addition to the gloves to work in the way that I am thinking about.

why thunderfury if it's just a slow? Azurewrath isn't better because it can freeze?

Monsters, especially bosses, develop resistance to hard cc, eg freeze, stun, blind. Slow is a soft cc and is not resisted, in other words, always effective.

Question on Cain's Fate, what if I craft it at level 23 and equip it on myself and follower, will I get 100% experience? To boost solo leveling to level 70.

you get 20% of your follower's value and it stacks with the game difficulty (so it's not very strong)

Because that's the max for them, and main stat increases the effects of some of their abilities.

@@gotdangedcommiesitellyahwa6298 Actually, that's not true unless D3 planner is bugged and isn't capping max follower main stat values at 25000 or I'm doing something terribly wrong...which is more likely. lol Example Enchantress: Prophetic Harmony gives your character 8CDR @ 25000 Int. It's max seems to be 10CDR at almost 35000. All her other stats also continue to show increases if 25000 is exceeded.

@@SlayerO013 It's probably an issue with D3 planner. When the patch goes live, just check your followers stat page and see if it goes above 25k. But every single "pro" player I've listened to says that's the max.

My first Impale build didn't go the way I had hoped in game since you can't equip a crossbow offhand when a dagger is primary. D3 planner thinks it's a totally acceptable practice unless it's been fixed since then. Issues or not it's still damn good. :D

It works if you have a follower, which you always do in solo, and in multiplayer if you are playing a build with Asheara's.

enchantress is the best for sure, 10% element dmg, 10% cdr (also good for gears with captian set) and 6% atack speed, also good deffensive .. with 2 deffensive gems and roll vita and armor where you can, can survive easy on 120 s, i didnt try on higher, but seems its hard to survive without follower cant die Relic on 130+, on t16 and speed grifts can run with all skills Relic and good thougness.. follower is NIce thing but that just for solo player.. i dont like play solo too much, in group is much more fun and more efficiency..

No. These sets emanate to you, so it's like you are wearing those items. You can't stack them.

They should make the 'Your Follower Cannot Die' Relics baseline. There really is no reason not to take them at this point which makes the other, more interesting options, completely irrelevant.

can you pls update the Follower for the zDH Build with Ashara Set on Maxroll.gg? You only describe the skills and Items Scoundrel an what is with Enchantress and Templar? You have to equip and skill all the Followers with Ashara Set. Show best in Slot Items pls and XP Items for Speeds and so on. So many Questions are unanswered
