My husband and I lost the house we raised our kids in, in the 2008 stock market crash. We might have been okay but he broke his back at work and right after I got a diagnosis that required radiation...my health insurance was CRAP and with him not able to work at the time and me working in commission only corporate sales while I suffered from radiation sickness, we just got buried. So we're back to renting. I want a mobile tiny house, or renovated RV, bus, 5th wheel, van, something. I watch these type of videos ALL the time. You two are SO good at this. And with millenials and Gen Z not being able or not wanting to buy, you've made a great decision in building this business. I wish you the success and I hope you wake each day and are passionate about what you do. 😊

Hey guys! Love what you both do always. I’ve left comments before, I definitely have taken bits of inspiration from you two for my own builds. I’m wrapping up my second van build right now, and running into some stree with my electrical system. I’ve consulted three different people with varying levels of electrical knowledge and haven’t been able to troubleshoot the problem. Really thought I did everything right! Do you have a contact email or some way that I can get in touch with you? I’m sure you’re both very busy, but if you’d be willing to lend an experienced set of ears and eyes through photos and such I would feel so grateful! Let me know what I could do. Much love from Montana!

So get a beefy frame van that can tow some good weight, has a big diesel engine and doolies. Convert the fuel system to run on used cooking fuel, then get a decent size enclosed trailer. Put your reasonably sized dirty cooking grease storage tank in there, grease fuel filter system, battery bank and solar equipment, and more. Don't forget to put a big thick umbilical cable for the inverter to connect to the van through the trailer tongue and wiring to the van. Then you will have a fully sustainable rig with free fuel as you collect from places that allow you to drain their garbage grease vat for them. And you'll have the freedom to set up your trailer with a bar too or whatever you want. Yet still having the van rig as your cozy living quarters with energy efficient appliances keeping you warm and entertained. Upgrade your suspension to aur ride for smoother trailer towing ride. Don't forger the easy hookups and quick pump start switches for the hoses and pump on the trailer outside too so when you roll up on those grease dumpsers you can drain it like a ninja in the night.

I know people are taking advantages of your videos and copy your work but I wish you guys share the details of your supply @scarletandseth There are not many sources for beginner van convertors for skylights. Thank you for all inspiration.
@scarletandseth Жыл бұрын
Yeah this is true, honestly we don’t have any supplier, we are usually finding them wholesale on eBay and importing them from Germany so it’s quite a time consuming and expensive process. That also means once you buy it there’s no link to share anymore. The one we used in this van is the Heki 2.
