This is such an improvement over the HD trilogy, aside from the occasional frame lag. Man, RaC Deadlocked needs a proper 4k upscale so badly. The HD port was terrible lol

Yeah the frame drops are unfortunate, it’s weird though because it’s not like the whole game lags too. Yeah I did a test upscaling the armor for Deadlocked and it looked REALLY good

Can't wait to see! Also, into the nexus is another game that really needs an upscale with 60 fps. But I imagine that would be difficult to pull off

How big is the folder size rn?

RIght now... 1.9GB! That could be a lot smaller if I just had to swap out the texture once but unfortunately I need to do it like 5 times due to the different LOD's (level of details)

@@RCLombax figured it would be pretty huge, I don't think 4x size is really worth it since the upscaling isn't adding any extra detail. In my opinion the general 'problem' with old textures is moreso their lossy compression rather than raw size, which is a lot harder to rectify but truly elevates a game if one has the source image(s) of a texture and the skills to hand-make it
