Hey dude! Lekker to see you making progress on the new spec dash! I ended up connecting my centre wire on my distributor plug to the RPM signal from the dictator and my rev counter worked. Not sure what plugs you do/dont have but im assuming will have to go from your CDI/TP100/Ignition module (pin7?) to the distributor plug in order to get your RPM working. Speedo will work once you convert your sender from cable to electronic. Again, let me know if you need any help or want to come check my car to see how I did mine.

Ive done a new spec dash in a old spec with the old spec loom without the changing the loom. I didn't use velociti cluster I did custom clocks and guages.

That belt noise is probably on your alternator belt, so just check if your tension is correct because mine made the same noise and all I did was readjust the tension on the alternator belt don't think it's necessary to replace the belt if there's no cracks or tears in the belt

Bra the reason your rev counter isnt working is because theres a small silver looking box that goes on the left hand side inside the vehicle where the chubby goes...its called a ign module if im not mistaken it takes that 7 pin plug bro but be careful you get two types,i can explain to you exactly over the phone so inbox me if u might need my help but thats why you had to run a permanent postive to your coil because that ign module im telling u about suppose to give spark to your coil

10:07 thats the plug im talking about,theres a small module box that goes there ...but the main problem is that you got a fuel injection harness for a carb but can work with it...your coil needs to be changed to a two pin new spec coil then u just add that box and you shouldnt have problems
