One question: Why MBQ returned to Hijaz under Suleiman? If he had established a empire from Sind to Multan then he could just maintain his army and make an indigenous dynasty? From here he can ideally put pressure on the Hijaz dynasty for his family immunity. Or is there some discrepancy in historical account?

Basically during karbal episode when the relatives of prophet were massacred by Yediz and some of the relatives managed to escape from that area and took shelter in Sindh where Hindu king Raja Dhair sen ruled and when after some years the same news reached to the Arab rulers they sent mohd bin qasim to sindh to punish Raj Dhair for providing shelter to the relatives of the prophet and Raja sacrificed his life and Kingdom for those people who had escaped from the massacre of Karbala.

Well actually, this is how history has always worked. The Gupta's conquered these regions and replaced their gods with the idols of Buddha. The Sasanids made fire temples in those buildings. The Rai's brought in Hinduism, The Kashmiri Chachas over threw Rais and Arabs overthrew Chachas through sword. No incident is isolated

Incorrect Information - The army sent for Dahir was mostly from Basra - mainly the prominent Banu Tamim tribe that had settled there. While there might have been some individuals from Syria in MBQ's army due to the expansive nature of the Umayyad Caliphate, the majority of his forces were recruited from the Arabian Peninsula, particularly from regions such as Basra and Mecca. Infact since the Ummayads were majorly engaged with other fronts around the same time, it is famously known that the first army that was sent to Debal was mostly a rag tag formation of young recruits and laymen like butchers, cobblers, traders etc. This is the reason why this irregular army had to face alot of losses. The regulars were skilled, but not available. It seemed like India was not the top most priority for the Ummayads especially considering how they were investing their energies on the Western and African front.

I'm a Sindhi. In my view, the right approach would be to narrate it from ethnic & economic perspective not from religious perspective. We the mainstream Sindhis are not Hindus. Dahir was Hindu & there was a readonable Hindu community. Moreover, Arabs were invaders & they were not staunchly opposed by Sindhis as they apparently seemed Muslims.
