Is it just me but does anyone else find it satisfying to watch NBA players shoot around during a Pre Game Workout? Like it's cool to watch their shot mechanics, technique n abilities

It's not impressive that he is blocking shots/ altering shot nobody else is. 7'4 with a 8 foot wingspan gives him the ultimate advantage . The dribbling is impressive absolutely .

He shouldn't rush when shooting the ball, no one in the NBA can block his shots.

Yeah I know it sounds easy, and his coaches probably tell him that all the time, but he will only really grasp that with experience

Once he learns that patience he's gonna be so scary. His jumpshot selection isn't good rn but wait till he starts pump faking and going to work consistently instead of just settling for the jumper.

People can tho, his release is like 10ft or whatever, every player can get up that high easily it’s just the fact he gets there so much quicker and easier. He could slow down a bit, but if he did get blocked, you can already see the comments now. “How did he get blocked, he’s 8ft tall! No skill! This 19 year old who’s already achieved more than I ever will is a failure!”

Lol nonsense take, releasing the ball fast is better.

Quick release will give him better consistency and shooting

his only issue is when shooting he rush his shots when he calms down and understand the flow of the game he will be a 37 to 40% 3point shooter

Why is a ball going through a hoop so satisfying?

he is better at the sides

Spurs need a better shooting coach. They got him shooting so out of balance. He keeps falling and leaning forward instead of going straight up

Yeah…something looks off in his shot.

In my personal opinion he needs to workout with Hakeem. not a bad thing to add to his arsenal hakeems footwork to coordinate with his skills

I need him to spend a summer with KD. He has all the foundations to be about 80 percent the shooter KD is, which would make him by far the best player in basketball. His work in the paint is gonna come regardless, as he gets stronger gains more trust in his body to get mixed up down there and especially when he gets his timing right

Wembanyama is not great from the three-point line. But, he is decent. If he gets into the high percentage range with making three-point shots, look out! V.W. will be almost unstoppable!

The good recipe to shoot acurately? Keep the ball low at first to build up momentum in order to jump, feet and legs parallel, body aligned, no more than 10 degrees off the line between you and the basket, avoid rotational movements in your body, avoid puting your knees ahead of your body, keep your head above shoulders, keep the shooting arm vertical, aligned with your shoulder which is the only joint you may rotate left or right to align it with the basket, before releasing the ball your humerus should be fairly parallel to the ground and should form a 90 to 60 degrees angle with your forearm, finishing with the elbow above eyebrows, your palm near parallel to the floor and fingers in the basket, now keep your arm relaxed and don't forget to flip your wrist. The jump and the high release generates the arc and the forearm rotation direct the ball towards the basket PS : train for hours and combine that in one fluid movement. Now you don't have any excuses not to shoot like steph curry.

He hits 3s consistently in practice. It's about getting them to go down consistently in a game.
@eddydesir77029 ай бұрын
He rushes his shot in a game. He let's pressure affect his jumpshot. It's a mental thing, he needs to realize that nobody in the NBA can block his shot, so a closeout or pressure means nothing. He will only learn that with experience, they he will get to his spots and not let anything speed him up
