All that waste from food can be fed to the piggies. Corn husks, water it's boiled in, any pealings you have from food even boiled or fried egg shells. Just keep a 5 gallon bucket outside the door and put the waste in it to feed to pigs later. Very nutritious too.

Hi DT watching this from California. Maybe go back and get that abandoned bee box and install it beside your other one. A new set of bees would move in, wouldn't they? Also, maybe think of installing cement pavement around your house, especially in the area where that water tap keeps flowing. It would cut down on all the moisture going under your house since water and wood don't like each other and you could get molds and funguses from too much water seeping into the wood. I love the fountain (where the fish are.) Adds ambiance to your homestead. The fossils in the middle, or whatever they are, is attractive and finishes the fountain look. Nice touch! I'm wondering what the two bushes are that you installed those little sticks around to keep the nosy chickens out. They looked like currant bushes to me. I didn't realize how much water there is in Vietnam. In California here we turn water taps off. Where you are it seems like water flows everywhere. How long does it take rice to grow? Can't wait to see how you harvest the rice. Surprised those chickens haven't been snapped up by some critter like a coyote or fox or weasel.

I thought the same thing Patricia ,when he started digging the holes for grapes. I keep looking for LuLu to show up, but my timeline on seeing his pups is hard to pin down. I have a lot of faith in DT’s abilities and he doesn’t seem worried. Maybe one day all three brothers can meet up and look for Lu Lu and anything that can stray away from home.
