I don’t comment often, this video brings up the subject of all of the fantastic plants that grew naturally or Ana planted and harvested and made into foods! I wish I knew what they are? I saw the squash and maybe a Mellon but so many others I don’t know. The red fruit? Made into a soft putty consistency and made a different food from it. Fantastic! If anyone knows the names of these plants, please leave an answer in the comments. I’m not a heckler just someone who would like to know! Happy New Year to Ana and her Moma and all who read’s this.

the fruit is gac as indicated in the section title. it was mixed with soaked glutinous rice then steamed and pounded. you can do the same thing with cassava, regular rice, and glutinous rice without the gac. all you need is a steamer, a mortar, and a pestle. it's a common practice in SEA.
