@George P exactly regardless of how flawed Simon may think it is eddie was just giving him the facts. yeah it does seem abit weird to not have a stipulation in the contract where if your fighter fails a drug test you can call the fight off yourself and not have to wait for the board to do it but like eddie said hindsight is a great thing. Everyone made mistakes regarding this whole situation but at this point I think the best thing for Mr benn to do is to sit in front of the board present all the evidence and come to some sort of resolution because its not just gonna go away. Eddie can argue his case all he wants but conor needs to man up grow a pair and deal with this situation. It should have been him in there with simon today tbh lol.
@georgep7925 Жыл бұрын
@@Bandzino91 yep, and its good to hear Eddie hold his hands up and say he wishes he done things wrong and moving forward may change the contracts, the hard part of that is, like the dillian whyte situation, if the promoter pulls the fight when the fighter is still sanctioned and the test gets proved to be wrong, the promoter will get sue’d for loss of earnings, people wont like it, but im afraid them people dont understand how legal binding contracts work

If you only watched this interview, and didn't take time to look into the situation and see all the things that dont make sense, then I'd agree you are right. But, after paying attention and comparing the facts out in the public and information Eddie was sharing, there quite a few things that dont add up. Specifically referencing testing samples, and a couple of procedures incorporating the BBBC and their ability to regulate the fight. That said, Simon realized that what hes being told by many other in the business has not matched up. I do think that Simon just thought Eddie was trying to take the piss on them and instead of being the bigger man and better explaining his points, shut off and stopped listening and providing structured thought due to thinking in his mind he wont get anywhere with the man in front of him.
