In this Physics (Digital Electronics) video lecture in Hindi we explained the working of Full Wave Bridge Rectifier with the explanation on its circuit connection.
Rectifier converts alternating current (A.C.) into direct current (D.C.). So, simply, rectifier is an AC to DC converter.
Half wave rectifier converts half wave of the ac input into output.
Full wave rectifier converts full wave of the ac input into output.
Full Wave Bridge Rectifier is a special kind of full wave rectifier. It has four p-n junctions (diodes) in its circuit attached in a special manner.
