Excellent video. Great to see so many women involved in rallying nowadays.

Very interesting to see this part of the sport in real time like this. I would very much like to see something like this but with a very heavily damaged car to see how the crew does triage in such a situation.

The service park at night is almost as fun as watching the rally. These mechs are amazing, I watched them rebuild Tänak’s car in Mexico after the water crash.

Respect to all of you! I was surprised to see most of them working bare-handed, why?

Saw that too, not like those NASCAR mechanics trying to protect their soft little handsy-wandsy’s with fancy gloves 🤲

for me it atleast interferes with work, handling small parts with gloves is often clumsy

I like the fact that they sweep while fixing the car. That lady mechanic knows her stuff!

Great Video... I have passed this, and some previous one's, onto some teachers and lecturers I know... The videos are a great example of training to do a job, do it regardless, don't say "there's no point" because it could be pointless if XYZ can't fix their bits.....An example of having just one reason for doing something, not N number for not doing it... No reason why women can't be part of a team.. Whether it is the "Squeezy Operator" cleaning the floor or a highly skilled technician..... the result is the sum of its parts......... Q: ?? What's the Green Pyramid thingies placed on the roof???

I miss working at Ralli-Art while doing a motorsport degree at college, Shame they closed and dropped out the WRC as I've not had many motorsport opportunities that are local to me since, just a few privateer gigs but was when and needed. I'd love to get back into it but chances are sparse now I've been out the game for a while.

That's so cool you worked there. I loved ralliart. Still have my two evos. Was always a dream to work there and learn the evo inside out.

The way they’re all just wandering around, no rush, having a quiet chat … clearly they’re being paid by the hour. I hope Adrien took out the pre-paid service plan.

This is a team of professionals that have everything planned to the second, there are limits to the number of crew that are allowed to touch the car, the car itself is running well with no damage and only required some clean up and a general check. When everyone does their job to the highest level, of course it will look easy. Why wouldn't this be an easy service?
@antonio_sousa2810 ай бұрын
Rushing when there's no need to is begging for stupid mistakes. The car was pretty much scratchless (as Malcolm Wilson throughout the weekend), so why go full throttle when it's just a routine check-if-everything's-alright? Besides, making it seem effortless is often the mark of working at a higher level

@@jackharrison2916 @jackharrison2916 it was a joke,Sorry if my sardonic sense our humour wasn’t obvious enough. I thought this service was amazing and one of the things that stood out for me was the respect for each other … ‘can you pass me the 10mm socket’ “ sure” ‘Thank you’ “You’re welcome”
