Awesome seeing the fatherhood and the fishing! They really need to do something about those sea lions! Maybe a weir of some sort.

Very lucky to live that close to a river. Keep your boy having fun out there you’ll always have a fishing partner to go out with !

I really enjoy your Videos, I have a new KZbin channel and sure would like to take you Steelhead fishing on the Eel river and learn what has worked for you and what has not. I have been fishing the North Coast for Salmon & Steelhead for well over 39 years including your home river and have been guiding for the last 15 years. You look like a person I would really enjoy spending the day on the river with and we could both possibly learn from each other, let me know and I will reach out when the conditions are good. If not keep making these vidos they help get my fishing juices going when I cannot fish. Thanks Pete. My name is Scott Brady.

That sounds absolutely amazing. Have a lot going on with the two jobs and kids these days, but Let’s communicate via email: palmcirclepete@gmail.com and get something on the calendar.

cool video. I would have liked it more if that damn sea lion was not in it destroying the steelhead. They eat 15-35 lbs per day in fish. Your son is a cute little man!!!

For real!! They scare the heck out of me sometimes when the come up next to my boat/kayak unexpectedly. Have seen them chowing down on some huge salmon/steelhead and it grinds my gears….
