I really did not like Jony J in this episode. He was only thinking about ‘his’ performance. All the other mentors always have the trainees in mind above everything else since this show is about them, not the mentors. Jony J did several things this season that I disliked. He is a good performer but a poor mentor for a show like this. Loved all the other mentors in this season as well as season 3.

I think its a combination of they like the song, they like him, and their past experience with him as mentor and coach. He stayed up all night with one team and corrected all of their mistakes within 24 hours of the performance!!!! Currently he is at the building and can visually see them perform and give them an all around coaching that they need. Jony J, Theo and Mr Silence are the only other on site coaches. If you pick Ella or Lisa then its going to be remote learning. IF I was one of the trainees I would prefer to have a coach on site so that they can interact with you more. But this was the pandemic so Lisa and Ella had to remote in.

I get that he's a rapper but he can still comment on like the overall feel or perhaps what he liked about their performances. But NO... he just sits there and comments "It's not in my professional range" almost as if saying "I don't care".

@@cdramaqueen yeah, i don't know him outside this show so maybe it's the way he is (idk), but he comes off as too indiferent. the other mentors can be though but they really try to bring out the best in the girls (like Lisa, she can be very serious in her class but she clearly cares and wants them to learn). the difference between Jony and Silence is huge!! Jony J..... i agree with you, it looks like he's there for the money or someone made him do this show 😂
