I might be Lorenzo’s biggest fan. In 1988, our senior years in high school, my team faced his (Lemoore High School) in a season opener that his team dominated. He was literally a man playing against boys. To make matters worse, he was my blocking assignment most of the night (he played both ways, including middle linebacker). Looking back, it’s the only time in my playing career that I was concussed. Several times, he rung my bell pretty good and my notes were scattered. Through it all, he was a hell of a nice guy and actually picked me up from the pile, dusted me off, and pointed me in the direction of my huddle a couple of times. “Good hit 62!” he’d tell me, and I’d wonder what game he was watching. Over the years, I have found that there’s no shame in having been beaten by a multi-time All-Pro, pro-bowler, and 16-year NFL vet, the greatest blocking fullback the league has ever seen!

LaDainian Tomlinson owes this man a lot. If it wasn't for Lorenzo, LT would've never became one of the greatest RB's of all time...

I was looking him up for big blocks but never realized his younger days he was a good option coming out the backfield.

Imo opinion I put Neal as the best fullback of the modern era ahead of alstott and rathman alstott had the stats but Lorenzo neal was miles ahead of him as a blocker and was decent with the football as well

Just ran into him at save mart... Guy is super cool, very nice and down to earth and looks like he could punch it in from 3yds NP!
