+Alexander Ray No, not really Mark and Dave aren't THAT different, it's still alt rock, it's not like Mark plays hip hop and Dave plays jazz. Tom and Dave are very different though. But think of like Chapter 13 and Burn Away. They can pull it off. I can't picture Dave doing that screamy style singing with Mark but maybe his light voice. And Dave and Mark collaborate with many people regardless of genre. Haha

true, but the difference is the foo fighters are writing/recording good songs, and the strokes are writing/recording songs that sound like my friends and i playing music in my basement when we were 15. plus, i think dave aims his comments more at the chris browns and keshas (i'm sorry, i meant ke$has) of the world.....and maybe the polished 'modern rock' bands.

Fucking rights Dave Grohl telling it like it is. Technology has ruined music. Drumming or guitar is all about feel and groove and its the imperfections that make great musicians who they are. Producers and mainstream just rob the musicians of who they are when they hack the parts up and autotune everything. Plus people with literally no talent are getting famous ahead of bands that are truly gifted. RIP music...
