What this game needs : Some bold fundamental changes like decreased movement speed , lesser overall gems , more overall time to destroy trees , the units not clipping into each other , etc. Unique character exclusive stuff like Air units only targettable by rangers , Greg/chicken/etc dealing no damage to golem , etc. More in-game strats like character formations , and the like. Maybe even syneriges. Like they introduce charcaters from all games so some can feel to similar to others. That can be prevented by synergies and abilites. Also provides in-game strategy with teambuilding. Other than that , the obvious stuff like new modes and all.

one thing i'm worried is that progression seems dependant on your wins. if you lose a match in the worst way, you must waste your key chest with only 1 upgrade. dunno how to feel about that

I like the chicken buff with hatchlings and i hope they'll give units like hog or lumberjack from hayday similar buffs. I dont see myself using hog just for small speed boost

Theoretically overtime, that will balance out as you progress through the Squad Journey. Realistically, most people in a lobby will have the same “power” of characters, may just be different characters that they have evolved
