Great stuff. Enjoyed it alot. The longer videos have so much information in them.

I learned a lot about line dynamics and action in the water, plus that sometimes only 1 fly is better. Thank you.

Very informative thanks a lot. I don't usually fish methods like these, in fact I usually fish the methods I enjoy, and am comfortable with, rather than the ones I should to put fish in the boat. Definitely made me think. Also good to see a video showing that it doesn't always go to plan, even for the experts.

What an awesome film - so much quality explanation of Robs thinking that I can take into my fishing - loved the map as well. Im off to Grafham on saturday so hope to put this into action - hopefully not as windy! Thanks

If it helps, Willows, N buoy to Tower on Dam.....foam daddies top dropper & point, hare's ear in middle.....lot of shrimp feeders about ...or Tower on Dam and intermediate line with black or olive snake for Perch Fry feeders ( I was on Grafham yesterday!)

Great,informative video as usual from a top notch angler. Ps I was starting to feel a bit seasick watching this video even though it never gets to me when I’m in a boat myself. Cheers

What fly box do you use for snakes.
@passionnementpeche112 ай бұрын
Hello Rob. when you fish with two streamers you space them approximately how much apart. on the video 6 foot to 9 foot. Is this always the case?
@robedmunds18082 ай бұрын
It all depends on the conditions, water clarity and how you are fishing. For example if you were fishing really deep with 2 boobies I would have the top dropper just 4 - 5ft from the fly-line and the point fly a further 8ft (total leader length 12-13ft) If it was light winds 0 - 7mph and clear water then a single fly on a 13 - 16ft leader would be best. In rough or coloured water 12mph+ or less than 6ft visibility then 2 large flies are Ok. Everything is masked by the conditions....6ft to the top dropper and a further 9ft to the point should be fine, but keep one fly drab and natural looking - usually the point
