If you come down through Eastern Washington you can avoid the concrete jungle and chaos! There are cities on this side with Discount Tire stores. Wenatchee (Wun-at-chee) was just South, Moses Lake, Tri-Cities (Richland, Kennewick & Pasco), Yakima, Spokane... etc. Wide open space, lakes, rivers, farm land, wildlife & a lot less concrete. People are a lot nicer over here also.

There are you tuber's of all different levels. I ( Burlington Bill ) do a you tube site where I mostly play and sing original and cover songs. With 85 subscribers I am at the very low end I guess but I still enjoy it. We travel about six months a year so I say it is busking from the road and home! Recently a sailing channel started using my song Sailing to Freedom ( on Sailing into Freedom episode 265 one minute mark ). So keep up the good work Timmy and Rock on!

😎If you want a fun and beautiful drive I'd suggest you do what we call the Loop. You drive Highway 101 up Hood's Canal and across the Olympic Peninsula then down the ocean coast. Lots of things to do and see and plenty of camping areas. Really a gorgeous trip.

Good advice! I grew up in the country but have lived a few decades in suburbia and still yearn for more green, wide open spaces. Why do it? I like my job and it keeps me in more densely populated areas but as much as I like the work, it's time to transition to the next phase. Love the videos. This one in particular. PS The cabin is your brand. It's unique so will continue to draw people to your channel.

Having grown up in outskirts of metro area and now choosing to live out in the “sticks” when I return to the city to visit family, it always blows my mind. When you’re in it every day, I swear you’re unknowingly in a certain survival mode that makes you tune out a lot of stuff, but when you’re in the calm and silence of the country by choice, entering those concrete jungles is sensory overload. All the noises, the speed of things, the whole time I’m there I’m uneasy, kind of on edge and irritable all instinctually… it’s fascinating as I lived in it for 25 years and only been living out of it a handful of years, and you couldn’t pay me to live in that again, that change happened quick.

I grew up in a small Oregon Coast town, and spent a fair amount of time camping on vacation, Boy Scouts and such. Later moved and lived in Portland for a number of years. I now live in a tiny NE Oregon town overlooking the Columbia River. I understand what you mean about the big city and the white noise kind of living. Even where I live now, as quiet as it is, it is nothing compared to the "noise" of being in a wilderness. I have never heard the symphony of weather, wildlife, and water living in town. The only way to really experience those things is to get very, very close to it. Like rain on a tin roof or tent close to it. Imagine, we humans built houses to get away from that sort of thing. Now some of us are trying to get back to it. Perhaps we just aren't fully evolved yet, which is fine with me.

My family lives in Everett, which is just north of Seattle. I visited a couple years ago. One day my mom and I went out towards Mukilteo, around the evening rush hour. I saw a huge line of cars, waiting. I asked my mom, what they were doing. She told me, waiting on the ferry. These people take a ferry into Seattle for work, work 8 hours, and then take it back to one of the islands so they can go home. Every damn day. Crazy stuff.

Thought I would drop a line to let you know that sometimes you are an influence on me. After watching some of your videos, i decided to build a camper trailer. I took some of your ideas when I built mine. It turned out to be quite a challenge. I built it on a boat trailer, had to reinforce it etc. Took it from Olympia Washington to Crescent City Ca. down 101 then over to Cave junction, Or. this summer. Put over 1,000 miles on it. Had a few problems but was a blast. Several times when I stopped people wanted to know about it. It's not anywhere as nice as your, but it is a work in progress. My wife broke her hip a year ago last summer. She has had lots of health issues , had to be with her in and out of the hospital etc, so it's not done yet. After watching your video on 5 Guys hamburger outfit, I realized there is a 5 Guys restaurant in Olympia, Stopped there last Monday, it was O. K. Keep making videos, really enjoy them. Oh yeah, living in the big city is for the birds, I live in the foot hills of the Olympics, wouldn't live in any big city. It would be cool to run into you sometime, love to introduce you to my kids and grand kids, they work on construction, could have some good conversation about working in the woods, and show you my '' camping trailer. '' Till next time, be safe.

Famous! I live in San Francisco. Lived in Colorado before this. Have to defend City life a little. Not everyone has a shitty job that they spend hours driving to in traffic. Some of have created cool shit for money like you. I miss Colorado wilderness, and I understand how it feels for you...concrete jungle, For me the city is a beautiful place. Filled with all kids of people from all kids of places that you might never meet outside of the city. It is to each his own. But taking a walk up the hill behind my house and overlooking San Francisco is just as gratifying to me as the majestic mountains of Colorado. Totally understand your take. You are an inspiration to live your best life. I figured it out as well although it took me 60 years. Cheers......

Don't feel cheesy about that stuff man, you gotta do what you gotta do! I discovered your channel by watching Brian's (& Sierra) winter camping videos. I can say that I LOVE that you pop out videos so often. Waiting a couple weeks only to see a mashup of old videos will definitely turn folks off. I've been watching with my son (freshmen in high school) while I take him to school each day. Your advice about keeping the adventures primary and the filming secondary sounds right on the money. Folks don't need slick, over edited videos - but just to feel we're living out the dream that we can't at the moment... We love watching the videos man! Trying to get my wife on board too, lol!

I just took off a set of Toyo Open country 10 plies I had on my Jeep I didn't think they were worth a damn in the winter (too hard) just my opinion, but good luck with your Toyo 37s. I just put a set of 35s on my Jeep, I went with the BF Goodrich all terrain I think they have kevlar in them or something but I have run BF before and I really like them year round. Glad you're living your dream I still can't seem to get my Quigley van out of the driveway here in Sterling to begin my adventure so I appreciate the videos, Godspeed. One more thing I used the GPS speedometer on my phone to check the speed when I change tire sizes like that because it does affect your speedometer. Didn't mean to write a book so have a good trip.
