It's good that you Mom has something that she enjoys watching. Even though it's temporary, it gives her a brief break from constantly dwelling on the loss of your Dad. There is no right or wrong way to deal with loss, everyone deals with it differently... I lost my wife 2 1/2 years ago, lost my Dad 1 1/2 years ago, had to have our 9 year old Lab put down about 6 months ago, and one of our cats died a few weeks after that... Things will get better for you, but I can tell you that it is a very slow process.

Great Videos, @ 8:45 brought me back to the late 80;s early 90's seeing that glider Styrofoam Glider Airplane on the counter. used to buy them at the corner store for about 20 cents if that. They were great until they had a hard landing and developed a crease in the foam, and it was back to the store to get another.

If you crack the drivers window about half an inch and put the heater on high, it'll warm the cab in half the time! You can feel the air being pushed out when you put your hand up to it. Helpful tip when you're in a hurry and it's cold out! Same thing for summer with the ac! You're welcome!!

@@stony7827 Exactly the OP is talking about a rear seat delete. Absolutely no person is ever back there. Folding down seats doesn't do anything. They're still back there taking up an absurd amount of space. You don't even necessarily have to build shelves. More room and you could stack things in containers. It looks like a total disaster back there.

Chiming in from Maine, I put one of those china diesel heaters under the backseat of my duramax and I’m in love! I still let my truck idle for 15-30 minutes so I don’t hurt the engine but having instant heat to warm the cab and clear off ice is amazing

It’s so awesome to see the Fairbanks area again. I worked up there for 9 years for State Forestry . Before that I worked at Eielson Air Force Base as a Junior High Teacher. I know that highway quite well driving back and forth between my condo in Anchorage and the house I rented then later the spring/summer/fall cabin I lived in, in Fairbanks. I miss that area. Fairbanks has a lot to offer for those who enjoy the outdoors and wilderness. I love it there, and I really miss it up there.

Hi Tim, as you know, the mukluks you have on , I believe are Stegar Mukluks made in Ely Mn. That is where I am from. Will Stegar led a expedition of sled dogs to the N. Pole, he wore mukluks like the ones you are wearing. They kept his feet warm, so his wife started the company Stegar Mukluks. Also Daryl Hannah wore them in the movie Grumpy Old Men.

I have a simple suggestion for cleaning the frozen windows of cars in cold weather. If you slowly pour a large bottle of water that you keep at room temperature at home on the window of your car, your windows will be clean without any effort
