Yes I’ve been saying this for a few years. At some point we reached a place in society where if you disagree with someone politically then it instantly goes to insults, anger. What used to be DEBATES have now turned into straight up ARGUMENTS. Nobody can just agree to disagree anymore and have a civil conversation. It’s really sad and to be honest I think Trump highly contributed to the divide we now are seeing. Not really a Trump supporter, or a Biden supporter but I’m just being honest. Killer Mike had to tell everyone to stfu and respect her and he leans left heavily. She argues that the way to combat the inequity of the past isn’t to talk about it and try to make laws that promote individuals because theyre black, but rather look beyond race and legislation, to get rid of programs that encourage people to turn away from responsibility like the welfare system and check cashing shops in low income areas. Also that a large part of the problem is associated with widely accepted cultural norms in the black community like abortion and “babymama culture” or having kids with people you dont intend to stay with
