Haechan is a cute maknae in 127 who is doted on by his hyungs, but with dream thery're like a bunch of friends that just bully and make fun of each other (mostly bc of how close they are and how much they love each other), and mark gets babied in 127 but babies others in dream (on top of getting bullied bc the dreamies just bully each other hahahaha - like what mark once said, theyre scary), (personally I prefer dream's dynamic as a whole together but to each their own ahhaha) you can also see the difference in 127 and dream dynamic by seeing how the maknae line of each unit is, like look at how mahae and jungwoo gets treated in 127, then look at dream haahahhaha, the maknae in dream (Jisung) is the most mature one most of the time and had to control his hyungs way too many times

I think a big thing that makes dream really close with one another is that they are all really close in age (3 year difference between the youngest and oldest member) and they all grow up with eachother since everyone in dream was so young when they started while 127 has a much bigger age gap (6 years) which means a potentially big difference in interests + since I'm closer to the ages of the dreamies I think I can just relate to them more.

mahae is the two maknaes in 127, hence they were more babied and seen as their babies. While in dream, mark is the eldest by only 1-3 years and their leader, and haechan is literally the middle child between 4 same-aged friends with two more that are younger. It's expected that their chemistry is not the same no? It's like comparing when you're with your best friends and when you're with your big brothers. Doesn't make anything less precious still. Toxic unit stans gotta put it into their head that both of them are surrounded by good people nevertheless, and isn't that much more important? In Dream Mark is the oldest and the leader and Haechan is right in the middle so they all play around together and don't really baby each other. Mark is more serious in Dream as well since he's the leader and in charge of things. Mark in Super M is the maknae and he gets babied and teased because not only is he the youngest but half the members are his sunbae. Different people mean different group dynamics.
