Fastest CR250 on YouTube?? TOP SPEED! (using GPS!) 2003 CR250 Supermoto

Top Speed runs on my 2003 CR250 Supermoto I built!!! The iPhone app uses is called, Speed Tracker. I ran the bike with a 13-42 sprocket setup then again with a 14-42, and show the difference in top speed and how it rides. This was a fun video for sure!
I will be doing ANOTHER top speed run on my CRF450R this weekend! I think it can hit 85mph with the stock 13-49 motocross gearing what do you guys think? More? Less? That bike is really, really fast...

Use clutch to get the front wheel up. Its gonna make it easier to get it up and more control when you gotten used to it(take it slow on learning to be safe, if it feels too weird) and remember to practise backbrake.

Well, nice video... I think you can do more than 140... my 1990 DR 350 does that with 14/42 sprocket but it only makes 30HP; If you're up to high speed you might try even a 15 sprocket, that might be much better for commuting, but the it's gonna be less fun to wheelie...

fabius666bz yeh the cr has a very close ratio gearbox is the issue, the extra hp doesn’t make it any faster on top speed. A 15 sprocket up front would definitely get it going even faster but yeh i like to wheelie more than go fast these days lol. Thanks for the comment man 👍🏼

Neskfo Gaming I would do a crf450! That’s my next supermoto build. Because te stroke just isn’t the best for street. Track maybe, and it’s fun as hell but you want the engine braking of a 4 stroke and be able to fill up at the pump

I have Honda CR250 1998 with on road (flattrack) tyres and hit 135 km p/u with 14/47 . now i want to go with 14/42 sprocket. what are you think. can i hit 145 km p/u?? actually i am looking for a wide ratio gearbox..

drestarss there is no chance or way for us to make the cr250 a wide ratio gearbox but I will say that with a 14-42 setup you will hit 145 and overall it helps this bike to ride lower rpms at high speeds. 👍🏼 good luck friend

drestarss yeh the 15 might not fit so I stay with the 14 but trust me 47-42 is a big difference you will feel and the bike rides very smooth too

I got mine cr250 - 05 to 102 mph with boyesen reeds, procircuit full exhaust, Hot rods crankshaft, wössner piston and brand New cylinder. There is a video about it on my channel
