The pain is unbearable 💔. Fans and pundits out here are so quick to be angry and judgmental about Amorim’s comments, but have they ever been in his shoes? Do they actually know what he’s going through? I’ve been a Manchester United fan for the longest time, and season after season, it’s been nothing but heartbreak. Almost every match week, I put on my United jersey, defending this club with pride, only for the result to be another painful defeat. Amorim was hired to do a job, and he will deliver-on his terms, with his methods. It’s his team, his responsibility. If you think you can do better, then why aren’t you the one coaching? It’s like having a smart kid, teaching them 1+1=2, and they still fail the test. So you teach them again, and they fail again. You keep teaching, keep believing, but no matter what, they still fail. That’s exactly how it feels supporting this team. Every time I say, ‘This is the one,’ it’s never the one. I try to believe again, and once more, it’s not. I can’t bet on this squad, I can’t rely on them, and I definitely can’t trust them to have my back when I’m out here having theirs. The pain is just too much. 💔😞

When we persist in giving the ball away so easily, when we cant score simple tap ins, when we can only get up for big games, when we get out worked and out run week in week out, i have no problem with the manager saying what he said. Player power was on the verge of happening during fergie's last few seasons as manager. The arrival of the oligarchs at Chelsky sparked the current era of mercenary football which has since become the norm. Let’s be real, what we are seeing on the pitch now is well overdue. Yes, under Ten Hag last season we won games but people are forgetting how bad some of the games were, and how many games we had to scam wins at OT vs smaller sides. We were being outplayed by Luton town for crying out loud. We got pieced up by Sheffield United at OT as well. And that was in the “preferred formation”. The team are so used to chaos ball and relying on mistakes from opposition to start counter attacks that they almost don’t know how to act when other teams sit back and give us the ball. Amorim will get it right, give him time. His work at Sporting is not to be underestimated.

How is Ugarte inconsistent? Apart from Brighton, he performed quite well - he looked knackered against Brighton. Needed a rest, and rightfully came off early in the 2nd half. George Best had left, forced out by Docherty, Bobby Charlton had left and Denis had, once again been forced out and was at City and scored that cheeky little back heel . The forcing out bit is why Amorim remindes me of Docherty, he is certainly not a Fergie, although I can remember the United road paddocks and K stand and the Stretford end all happily singing "bye bye Fergie" several times just before and just after Christmas 1989 because we were playing so shit every game, it changed with the FA cup run, but in the league it was away to QPR, we were a goal down at half time and the way all the other games were at half time we were bottom of the league, however something clicked at halftime and they played like demons (first time that season) and we won, I think it was a Neil Webb brace and then it was happy days, we finished 11th and won the FA cup and Fergie had done enough to get the fans back on his side and the rest is history. I was in the Stretford end and was singing bye bye Fergie and Fergie proved us all wrong, I'm hoping Amorim does the same because I think he is a one trick pony who has no plan B, if it were me I would have seen that the players we have are struggling with this system after 2 games and I would have thought lets bin this system on the game pitch until the summer when I can get the players I need and will have a full pre season to train all the players, and right now lets play a system that suits the players I have now so that we can get a few points on the table. Anyway rant over and hopefully Amorim proves me wrong and wins everything going with United.

For me we're going down the right track with Ineos and Amorim. Amorim is proving most of these players are not worth the contract they're on, and ineos are showing how bad the owners have run the club - together, they could well bring the price of united down and the income next season will be a lot lower with no European football, which should break the glazers, and force them to at least offer sir jim a lower price to fully takeover. This is what i hope is happening.

Good grief the knowledge from this lot is abysmal. Stepney was the only player who remained from the team that won the European cup by the time they were relegated in 74. This Utd team is nowhere near the worst in history. Worst in the premiership era yes, history- not even close

Nevermind the team, it's the worst the CLUB has ever been. At that starts at the very top (& their enabled cronies at INEOS) Amorim is the only thing INEOS have got right (& even then, they got the timing wrong - he should have come in either last summer or this)
