It really shows how much effort you put into this: details from MC work (like the build pattern on the ground), clear and understandable tutorial, to editing, and right down to video description, I really want to say - thank you Maze Craft, we appreciate all this work! New features make sense, I would've never thought about harvesters picking up each other's seeds and such. Idea with central farmer with full inventory of bonemeal is great - no need to make things complex like stacking hopper-minecarts.

Thank you so much. Glad to hear it😄 I wouldn't have gotten to this point without feedbacks and the reference video. I think the seeds sharing is mostly working. But also I'm looking for a better way. If you can't find a villager to receive 8 stacks of bone meal, it also good to cure the zombie villager nothing in its hand. I ran out of steam and skipped the explanation...

The amount of experiments from other farms and this farm I think this farm is the best one I can find the design and the mechanics are very well thought of and designed. One more thing is to make another video of how to stack it.

im all for gadgets and mechanics exploit, i love what you did there... im still testing your design, as im sceptical about it, just before i built ilmangos farm, similar design to this, and wheat wasnt working for me no matter what i did (i havent had a clue about sharing crop mechanics), i went bonkers, killed all farmers and villagers in my villager breeding hall, so ill test yours in creative first... *edit: wheat is working just fine, slow but steady... it seems villagers are using composter so i added trap doors on all 4 sides... it seems not many yt-ers are interested in making proper crop farm, but you did some quality testing here, this might be it... i love that you designed this on your own, keep up this good work, bring improved designs each new version, and youll grow in big time... some cool things i learned as well (besides farm mechanics): composters on hoppers (ive seen those before), using droppers with hoppers, easy item filter (just put one and let items fill up whats needed)... i had an idea *to make it stackable* and to implement melon/pumpkin farm in corners of farm to make it square shaped, and maybe on top cactus sugar cane and bamboo farm, so its a tower of all veggies, seems like a cool thing to have, since you can afk it all in one place... cheers and keep it strong 💪

Thank you so much. In a Crop Farm with villager sharing crops like this, the trapdoor trick should be fine only in the wheat field. It prevents the wheat from turning into bread. At the time, I was limited to just verifying 1 layer and didn't get around to designing a stackable system. I hope to realize this someday🤗

@@mazecraft9785 well, one layer is good as it is, afk-ing over night is enough to get decent ammount of vegetables for survival... but if you want to have full inventory always for emerald trading, more layers is a good thing to do in my opinion... its easy money... =) plus ill need bone meal so much in future, i have to have multiple layers of it...

Hello! This farm is so cool. But i had a few questions to ask you about the new features *How can I build more layers?* 1.the daylight detector, will we need to do anything? 2.The lightning rod, we build the second layer above it? I am just too confused...
@mazecraft97853 жыл бұрын
Actually, the method of adding more layers didn't work very well, so I didn't explain it this time. For example, if you have two layers, two of the four fields in the first layer are wheat and beetroot, you will have no problem placing 4 daylight detectors; the potato and carrot in the second layer do not need daylight detector. And you may have to get creative with how you connect the hoppers. Also, one lightning rod can cover a wide area, so placing just one on the topmost layer should be good. Unfortunately, I still can't explain how to add more, I`m sorry😔

lighting rod will *attract thunder in in radius 16×4×16, so it must be 4 blocks above villagers to protect them...
@pahvalrehljkov3 жыл бұрын
if you build a roof with 2 layers, it should be possible... *edit: ive found working solution with 1 layer only with leaves and log... you put composter and sticky piston as usual, and towards sensor, you put observer that is facing towards sensor, and then 6 leaves block, leave one empty, then any wood log block, sticky piston into it, and sensor next to that sticky piston, boom you get 1 layer high design that will move your composter up and down... then you can make 1 layer roof for each floor, and design hoppers with droppers to get all items down... how this works is: leaves have a distance state that measures distance from wood, you can inspect with f3, so we change this which is enough for observer to send a pulse...
@mazecraft97853 жыл бұрын
@paulingho de la voopala It might be a good way to do it for sure, but that would leave the harvesters still farmers during the crop sharing hour(morning and evening), and then seed sharing would be unlikely to take place. I'm not sure how much I can explain in just the comments section... The daylight sensor changes the signal strength depending on the time of day, and I configured the sticky piston extend and the composter detected by harvester when the signal strength is 10. This creates the certain time that the harvester is unemployed during the crop sharing hour, and the seeds are being shared. Also, I may not know enough about lightning rods. I would like to look into it again when I get a chance.

There is not a composter for him. If you trade once beforehand, he will stay as a farmer.

Helll I’ve built this in my world and it’s amazing but u sitll have one question why do I have to put the daylight sensor? Does it make a difference?
@mazecraft97853 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the comment. As far as I could find out at the time, I remember that just placing the composter would cause the seeds to occupy most of the harvester's inventory, so the harvested wheat and seeds would not be captured sometimes, but scattered over on the farmland and disappear under the 5-minute rule. I believe that by using daylight sensor and sticky piston to adjust the position of the composter and make the harvester temporarily unemployed, seed sharing will occur, thus we can secure enough space for wheat in the harvester's inventory and eliminating the loss of wheat. Sorry if I didn't explain it well. It may be difficult to do it in the comments section alone😣

Does this need to be 200 or sum blocks away from a village? Or can it be next to the village and which bone meal farm would you think is the best?
@mazecraft97853 жыл бұрын
Probably we don`t need to go 200 blocks away. If you want to build it near the village, it might be better if the village`s bell is not so close. And I've never tried a bone meal farm... but I've been thinking lately that a moss farm would be really interesting😆

Crops are basically shared only twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. You could say that it is working during the night because the light source block makes the crops grow though.
