I would ditch that top handle , on the locking part the lock broke after a few months and my camera almost hit the floor , thankfully i had a handstrap on my hand.

Oh man! I am worried about the twist lock too. Really needs a lot of effort to secure, but I am glad your gear didn't break! I will try not to use the top handle and another place to mount the monitor. If I don't need the monitor, I won't attach it anyway.

@@elJong my favorite top handle is the tilta xeno , its really cheap , attaches with a nato rail so its really easy to mount it or dismount with no tools, it has arri anti twist locating pins on both ends so you can use it the normal way or in reverse. So far that works for me , the only thing i dont like about it is that its not really close to the camera body, its a bit too high imo.

@@JoseHerrerawl nope , just once iv picked it up by the top handle wosh. Thankfully I use a peak design handstrap always and a side handle . If my rig is strapped to my hand i feel a lot more secure about holding it by one handle . This saved my rig at that time
