You learn something new everyday. I had no idea that you could swap out the tie down's with the paddle holders. This is a game changer for me. I hate having my paddles so close to where I sit down! Love the setup. Tight lines!

Here’s you another tip for your Fischer pole. You can buy an extra cone from Fishing Specialties and install it on your pole so you can bring your pole out of the water while you’re moving. You don’t have to bring the whole pole into your boat.
@garrettwadefishing7 ай бұрын
I’ve not thought of that. I usually just keep it in that rod holder hanging over the side when it’s not in use or moving spots.

I'm jealous of that crate, I need to make myself one. My brother and I ran into you prefishing at Guntersville when we pulled up at the ramp (Malone trailer with 2 blue Hobie 360s), we kept an eye on the standings to see how you were doing, heck of a job! I'm not sure if this was answered elsewhere but does your buddy sell those brackets by chance?
@garrettwadefishing6 ай бұрын
I don’t believe he does. It would probably be a good seller though. And thanks

Have you had any issues with water coming up through the rudder and skeg deployment holes? I put the 36v 40a battery in the front and directly behind the seat. From 3/4 - full throttle water was actually coming into that rudder control compartment and then into the hull via the control cords. I racked my brain on the “leak” until I removed the Hobie mount and saw the water inside that housing. Not a deal breaker as I did a silicone deal with those holes to make them smaller but still functional. Just something I need to be mindful of. Awesome setup you’ve got btw
@garrettwadefishing3 ай бұрын
It’s possible I get a little water from that. I do get water in my hull some trips. Could be from that or around the drive because I stand in the front most of the day. Never really had enough to be worried with. I just scoop it out at the end of the day.
@TheHurtlacher3 ай бұрын
@@garrettwadefishing that 300 makes it hard to not push it 😆. I think the day I really noticed it I went probably 5mi full throttle to see how she did. Not enough to really matter but enough to get me to investigate
