Question: when you changed the tool to do the finishing cut, you said you do again the zero. Where the zero si done in this case? Outside the cut (like in the not worked area just like the initial zero) or the the highest part of the already worked area?

There are some 3D printable spindle fans that will blow all the chips away, very very cool setup...I have one of those collecting dust...I really should break it out and start using it

When fitting the cutting bit into the collett, I am not sure how much of the screwed area is still visible, as I am nervous to damage the unit I have searched and searched to see if there is still thread visible once tightening up the chuck. Any comments welcome

I bought mine for 329 comes with a 10K rpm spindle but his looks like the 12K rpm one, I may be wrong. Think his came stock at 7K rpm so even to 10K would be a nice upgrade.

Changing the step to 0.1mm instead of continuous makes it easier to do finer adjustments.

Hi, you need to reset the Z 0 for the new finishing tool then you can set the router cutting.

Having watched your videos I have now downloaded Carveco for my 3018. Having arrived at my 3d image I was happy with I went to 3d tool paths but there were no tool bits to choose from. Could you please show how to make a tool library on carveco. Many thanks Denis Scotland

Hi Mr. Roger, i have a idea to buy this cnc 3018 machine, i read in specification, this part is confused Frame Size: Approx. 380 x 315 x 225mm / 15 x 12.4 x 8.9in (XYZ does not include motor protruding parts). seller saying- (XYZ does not include motor protruding parts). what is this mean, i need to buy this item separately or, i can work without these parts?. seller can't understand what i am asking about this, hes sending same screen shot from specification, ha ha ha

Can you show something being done on both sides at all buddy for example something that needs a section on the back of something being carved out in a specific area so when it carved from the front it fits on to something else, if you understand what I'm trying to say
