I've been listening to the album Lady Aicha & Pismo Crane's Original Fulu Mziki of Kinshasa for 6 months or so - and I had NO IDEA THEY WERE A SELF-BUILT PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE, built from scraps of their exploitation no less!! Amazing! And I hope they get recognition and money for their efforts - and to help their people. This is truly making lemonade!!
