Nast, nasty, nasty water. Took a boat ride in one of the glass top boats when in A-dam back in 1985 with Miss Toni. Was good to see the city from a different perspective. First time I’ve ever eaten fresh strawberries with Heineken beer. Wasn’t too bad a breakfast, but, that place at the Gardens had no one open at the early hours. And a fun day was had!

Amsterdam is veey nice, but not representative for the Nerherlands, I hope everyone understands. If you want to see some less touristic backpacker cities, visit Haarlem, Leiden, the Hague, Utrecht or Rotterdam. Take the train!
