Fun. Concert, TLA (Theater of the Living Arts) in Philadelphia, April 28, 2012

During their performance of the song Barlights from their debut album, Aim and Ignite, lead singer Nate Ruess quiets the crowd so everyone can sing part of the chorus together.
When the band finally reaches the highest level of enthusiasm, guitarist Jack Antonoff gets so into the song that he accidentally falls of stage, much to Nate's surprise.
But no matter the pain and injury inflicted during the fall, Jack jumps right back on stage and continues to play throughout the rest of the song and one more (before taking a break and asking the audience for a band-aid-- which was supplied). Later, there's a really cute moment when Nate and Jack basically hug during the rest of the song! At the end, Jack even decides to finish off by lifting the guitar behind his head and throwing it back down before the lights go out.

Feel so bad for Jack that had to really hurt and he could of been seriously hurt, thank God he wasn't and nate's reaction you could see he was really concerned but tried not to draw to much attention. These guys are so great together : )

Jack cut his hand after he fell off stage and was bleeding, but people in the audience gave him neosporin and a band-aid after he played another song with bloody fingers. Yeah he was totally awesome - such a trooper! Played the rest of the concert even with an injury!

Every time I run across this. I just so thankful Jack was ok. And to see how concerned Nate was and runs to Jack it was just so sweet. Real brotherly love. This band is so amazing, I followed the Format some because my daughter was into them then fun.happened and they really seem to have what the other band was missing and I'm not surprised that they have made it, the three together are just amazing ... keep it coming fun.: )
